Naughty is expanding in New Orleans for a second, complete hotel takeover at the NOPSI Hotel, October 21-25, 2026. This is one of the best times to visit New Orleans, with fantastic weather and numerous great events celebrating the Halloween season. This is the best city in the US for a Halloween Ball; the entire city oozes with ghost stories and haunted houses.
This will be a 3-night event with an optional fourth night, featuring an optional field trip to The Mortuary, followed by a party at Colette.
Dia De La Muertos Fiesta:
A Día de los Muertos Fiesta translates to a “Day of the Dead Fiesta” or “Day of the Dead Celebration” in English, which is a multi-day festival, most prominently celebrated in Mexico, to honor and remember deceased loved ones. The celebration involves creating altars with offerings, decorating gravesites, and gathering with family to share food and stories, often featuring cultural elements like sugar skulls, vibrant colors, marigolds, and skull-themed makeup to embrace life and death rather than mourn it.
We will have face painters for those who want to get painted in the traditional way, and we will have a special guest DJ who will bring some Latin Vibes to the party.
PARTY AT COLETTE
After returning from the Mortuary, there will be a party for those early birds who came in early. There will be a party at colette from 10 pm till 2 am. This party is included in your 4-night package and is a BYOB party. Our hosts will show you where you can pick up something to bring to the party. colette is a world-class club located half a block from our main hotel, and your badges will get you right in.
Vampire Ball:
A vampire ball belongs in New Orleans because the city’s dark history, including real and imagined associations with unexplained deaths and the occult, fuels a vibrant vampire culture, the presence of a major port attracted various individuals throughout history, and its deep embrace of its macabre, “City of the Dead” reputation provides the best setting in the country for such an event. Will you encounter Lestat or Louis, characters from Anne Rice’s Interview with a Vampire, set in 1791 Spanish Louisiana?
Halloween Ball:
New Orleans is perfect for a Halloween ball because of its unique blend of Voodoo culture, gothic atmosphere, and haunted lore, creating an intrinsically spooky and festive environment for elaborate costumes and dark revelry.
