    One thing that can help in a group situation is to slip away to somewhere private — the men’s room perhaps — to work on getting hard. The pressure is lower if not completely off. Get it all the way up, maximum hardness, and the erection itself compresses the veins that drain the corporae, which helps to keep it up. It feels like it sort of “latches” in the up condition. This also compresses the sphincters, so be sure to pee first, before it becomes impossible.
